Los Angeles native Kristen Stewart is the daughter of TV producer John Stewart, who works for FOX TV. Because of her striking resemblance to a young Jodie Foster, Stewart gained her first big role in 2002's PANIC ROOM starring as Foster's daughter. Mostly known for her California blonde locks and green eyes, Stewart has often been cast as the emotionally detached older sister in movies like ZATHURA and THE MESSENGERS. For her role as Bella in the TWILIGHT series, the actress dyed her hair brunette and donned brown contact lenses to look more like the character as she is described in the books. Currently Stewart is working on finishing the Vamp Opera series as well as the 2010 biopic THE RUNAWAYS where she plays a young Joan Jett.
