Bio / Info
Born in Philadelphia, PA to an American father and a British mother, Cohan was mainly raised around New Jersey as a child and then later moved to the UK to be with her mother throughout her teen years. Lauren graduated with a BA in English and Drama from Winchester University and while she was born and partially raised in the states, she holds onto a British accent when speaking in her not-on-camera voice. With a quiet start in the acting business in 2005, where Lauren had a role in the Heath Ledger movie CASANOVA, then in 2006 being cast as the tough outcast fraternity girl in VAN WILDER 2: THE RISE OF TAJ, Lauren smartly moved on to US television, being cast first in the CW show "Supernatural" where she was a regular for an entire season on the show. She had a reoccurring role on the show "Chuck" and spent 2 seasons as Rose on another CW show, "The Vampire Diaries." But it was in 2011 when she was cast as Maggie in the fan-favorite AMC post-apocalyptic show "The Walking Dead" that she gained her biggest fame. Lauren is set to appear in 2014's REACH ME, as a lead female character to her famous co-star Sylvester Stallone.
