Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Minka Kelly is the daughter of a Vegas showgirl and former guitarist for Aerosmith, Rick Dufay. Kelly began her acting career in 2004 with small roles in television shows like "American Dreams." In 2006, she was cast as Lyla Garrity in the critically acclaimed TV show, "Friday Night Lights," where she remained on the cast until 2009. One of her more recognizable roles was in the 2009 fan-favorite movie, (500) DAYS OF SUMMER, where she plays the transitional role of Autumn. In 2001, she will appear with Leighton Meester in THE ROOMMATE. Became engaged to baseball player Derek Jeter in 2009.
