What's it about
Sister Mary Chopper returns to her old stomping grounds and is out to take down the naughtiest students at Happy Days Bible Camp- the sinners.
Is it good movie?
Any movie that features Ron Jeremy as Jesus is sure to attract a pretty specific sort of audience. This is another one of those throwback slasher flicks paying homage to the golden era of horror and to be honest, I am getting a little tired of these sorts of flicks.

With that said, if you love these "we're going to try to offend anyone who would never be watching a movie like this" sort of movies, you'll likely really enjoy this one. It's played mostly for laughs and shock value.

If you love hearing conversations about Jesus' wiener size and watching people get raped with crucifixes in their poopers, you've probably already got BBBC pre-ordered, or should anyway. The flick begins with an admittedly cool sequence which details the massacre Sister Mary had been involved in to tell her origin story. This starts the flick off on the right foot.

Now, I'm not trying to rain on the parade or paint this flick like it sucks, because I don't think it does. In fact, what frustrated me the most about it was a waste of potential. There are some great and memorably gory kills here, and getting to watch Reggie Bannister play the fundamentalist psycho Father Richard Cummings (ugh) was pretty fun. In fact, the cast is pretty good at pretending (?) to be bad actors. The dialogue is actually somewhat snappy too, but I felt it tried a bit too hard to be edgy-funny, and this hurt things a bit.

The problem here is that if I'm watching a stupid slasher flick, I want to watch stupid "teenagers" getting hacked to pieces viciously in quick succession by the nasty murderer. After we're treated to the bloody opening sequence, we have to wait for-ever for the killing to start. In fact, it seems like all the slashing only happens at the end of the film! Unacceptable. And even worse is that when you jam everything together at the end, you rush through it and can't appreciate the better kills. It all just sort of runs together and takes away the impact.

Ultimately, this is a bit of a misfire that wastes some pretty serious potential. It's somewhat funny, it has the right look and characters with a decent killer but the formula seems off.

Last Call
It's gruesome and promises some fun but doesn't quite live up to its potential. I wouldn't outright condemn it, but I'd certainly think twice before rushing off to this Camp again.
