A guy waits in a café for a pissed off woman and instead a stranger dressed as a cowboy takes the seat across from him and tells stories relating to the old saying, 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
This one's an anthology so I'll break it down by story:
The first story is about a couple of girls who run into a creepy chick who's not only strange but also very mysterious. After following her around, they eventually find out the story of what happened in her past, including her brother's death. Thanks to some ghostly possession, revenge eventually gets carried out, but not swiftly enough for me. Definitely not a good start to the movie. The acting is lame and hammy and if it wasn't for the gore and a few other scenes, it could almost pass for an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Is it a good movie? Nope.
The second story deals with a psycho who tries to rape a cop, but not in the normal way. He instead takes her gun, shoots her in the leg and proceeds to do the dirty with the hole he just made. This wound up being much more twisted than the first story, but by the time it was over I was calling "bullshit" because pf the terrible ending. I just couldn't piece it together and the editing's lack of continuity didn't help matters. Is it a good movie? Still no.
The third chapter is about a film geek who rents the latest war movie and ignores his girlfriend so he can watch it. He then meets his doppelganger and they proceed to fight over the remote and watch the movie. Eventually the double explains his raison d'etre- he's from the future and warns him that he'll break up with his girlfriend. DUN DUN DUN! They wind up boring me by continuing to talk and really nothing happens. Seriously. Is it a good movie? HELL NO!
The fourth tale deals with a girl who gets raped but the guy leaves behind his stun gun. He returns for seconds the next day but she gives him a good shock, ties him up and exacts bloody revenge on him that had me wincing by using a blowtorch and needles on a certain male sex organ . As she keeps torturing him she turns from shy girl into an empowered and crazy woman. She goes after her neighbor, her friend, her boss…everyone who has wronged her and she's out for blood. Is it a good movie? No, but this is the best story so far (which doesn't say much.)
To bookend the movie, the two strangers finish up talking and we see how the pissed off girlfriend gets back at her man. Meh.
Boobs, blood and boredom is a terrible combination, and that's what we got here. Straight up, this movie was not much fun to watch at all, barely entertaining, except for the final story, which can't save it. Hell hath no fury like a horror fan scorned. HA HAAA!
