What's it about
Other than the fact that Edgar's famous poem is read throughout the film and the main characters name is Lenore I have no I idea what this flick is about.
Is it good movie?
Let me start off by saying that I really enjoy art films as well as non narrative films with vague plot structures, but I do not enjoy random shots with no thought behind them thrown together and called a movie.
Writer/director Ulli Lommel took Edgar Allan Poe's work and used it as a base to add in a combination of images, bad hair, and home movie aesthetics to make one of the worst movies I have ever seen. If he didn't have a shot to use a telephone pole or a flock of birds is thrown in to fill the gap. What he should have done was add more tit shots or maybe scrap the Poe angle and just shoot a porno instead. At least that would have kept my interest.
Speaking of porn, the acting is at times worse than what you get in your average skin flick. It seems like most of the actors didn't want to be there but had nothing better to do. The hair and wardrobe are also better in most porno movies, and the music was paper thin. The sound was very clear though, so props to the sound guy.
In the end the only good thing about this movie is the nudity. Lead actress Jillian Swanson has a great body and a very nice pair of tits, as do some of the other members of the cast. Besides the skin I can't find anything else in Lommel's film worth my time.

Slim pickings with this one. All that's offered are a few trailers.
A poor rendition of Poe's classic with random images, bad acting, even worse hair, and a little skin thrown in for good measure. Unless your to young to rent/download porn or you just like bad movies with tits, save yourself the time that will be spent fast forwarding to the money shots. Take my advice, just rent a film from Troma or Seduction Cinema and at the very least get a few laughs.
