Haven't seen them all yet but ....

No inclusion of "Redd Inc" ?!? For mine the best horror release from Downunder in 2012. Tom Savini supervised the makeup effects so it's pretty brutal in places. Going to catch PA4 today and hopefully my local DVD stockists works out more than one copy of Cabin In The Woods would be a good idea, frack it will just buy a copy ... the things I do for the genre!

Cabin in the Woods blows away all others

That movie is destined for cult status, pity its suffer such a harsh fate with MGM and a low key release but time will be kind to it.

To be honest, none of those films on that list really impressed me or truly terrified me. If I had to choose I would probably go with V/H/S. The other films that were pretty good as well are The Pact, The Tunnel, Entrance(really chilling!) and the finally released back in May, Mother's Day. All in all no horror movie has really stood out of the pack for me as of now. Hopefully The Collection will change that, which will be released at the end of this month. Can't wait!

I cannot decide. The Woman in Black, VHS, Sinister, The Cabin in the Woods, and The Innkeepers were all good for different reasons. Lovely Molly was lovely too. Kill List was a 2012 release for some of us.

On the spectrum's opposite end, The Raven, The Wicker Tree, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Ghoul, and Bigfoot were all okay. But, they were not 2012's best gothic offerings.

Cabin in the Woods will be a classic no matter the year. PA4 stunk. I need to see more of these, especially sinister.

Number one's easy , the others not so much , but my Top 3 would be : '' THE CABIN IN THE WOODS '' , '' SINISTER '' , '' and '' V/H/S '' , from top to bottom .
