The original Black Christmas. After all these years, it's still an effective suspense thriller, especially the ending.

Damn I didn't realise there was so many festive slashers. Got so many to check out now. I picked Black Xmas remake. Sue me its a cheesy guilty pleasure I watch every year. Drunk. The original doesn't feel like a slasher movie to me. Haven't seen original Silent Night but after catching the remake last night (quite a bit of fun) then I will try track it down.

Though very hard to find and you'll probably have to buy it on Amazon, is the suspenseful, Home for the Holidays. It's from 1972 starring a very young Sally Field. I think they should remake this rare, christmas horror gem. Seek it out now!
