Terminator was just tense and kept your on the edge of your seat the whole time. Watching damn menacing Arnie chasing Hamilton and Bean the whole movie long felt like a nightmare come to life (in a good way ;)).

Why Terminator 2 rocked was Linda Hamilton. Her performance in T2 was so goddamned good, she totally bought into Sarah Conner body and soul for that film. The action scenes, special effects and all that were good. The direction and the odd storyline were good. (There were some obvious loopholes). But the back bone of the movie was the scene stealing performances of Hamilton.
