He is never a "zombie", he just has a healing factor.

Being in Crystal Lake water kind of hibernates him, but Jason scars up and is turns more fleshy as the series goes on. He is tough to take down, near impossible to incapacitate, and is more of an bio-organic terminator than a demon or zombie.

DISAGREE! At the beginning of Part 6, he is dead (which is why he didn't show up in Part 5, he met his demise at the end of Part 4). He is then brought back to life by a lightning bolt - hence he is now undead.

He's still a mongoloid when he's a zombie, isn't he? Kind of like a horse is still a horse even when it's a zombie horse.

I think I tend to prefer zombie Jason for the simple reason that it makes more sense for a supernatural monster to take the kind of damage Jason regularly does and still keep coming, unlike pre-death human Jason.

Am I right in thinking that zombie Jason isn't even a zombie? He's still alive or something, but has some kind of super-healing factor? Or am I misremembering

I actually like both. My favorite Jason films are Part 4, Part 6, and Part 7. Both mongoloid and zombie in my favorites.

You're right, it is. But I like the way MONGALOID rolls off the tongue. Much smoother than MONGOLOID IMO of course...

Can we have him both, like a hybrid version of Jason where he can change at his will?
