A strange blue light causes trouble in Beyond Skyline clip

Beyond Skyline Frank Grillo Liam O'Donnell

Director Liam O'Donnell's BEYOND SKYLINE, which is a sequel to the 2010 alien invasion film SKYLINE, is now playing in select theatres and is also available for viewing on VOD platforms. If you haven't checked the film out yet and need further enticement, or if you need something to hold you over until it's released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 8th, a new clip has been released online and can be seen below.

BEYOND SKYLINE stars Frank Grillo as

a tough-as-nails detective who embarks on a relentless pursuit to free his son from a nightmarish alien warship.

In the clip below, we see exactly how Grillo's character loses his son (played by Jonny Weston) to the aliens, and it has to do with a strange blue light that puts anyone who looks at it into a trance.

Grillo and Weston are joined in the cast by Bojana Nokakovic, Callan Mulvey, Antonio Fargas, Jacob Vargas, Betty Gabriel, and THE RAID's Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian.

Our own Eric Walkuski has watched BEYOND SKYLINE and gave it a 7/10 review, saying the film doesn't let you down in terms of pure entertainment.
