Things have been quiet on THE DARK KNIGHT RISES front as of late; I don’t think we’ve actually had anything to report since January!
Well a little tidbit has surfaced, with a short synopsis, which has now disappeared from where it came. Film Cells Ltd who are an official WB licensee of film products that make like film cell and promotional art plaques had posted the plot description. Said plot description (below) was with a plaque, that has also been taken down.
Not sure on why, or what the story is but it is interesting all the same. I would assume we’ll be getting all sorts of goodies on the film soon, I do recall marketing starting in early 2010 for the mid-year release of THE DARK KNIGHT so I expect this to follow suit.
When Commissioner Gordon stumbles upon a plot to destroy the city from within, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as the Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batman’s legacy piece by piece.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES features an all-star cast with Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway (below), Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Stewart, Matthew Modine and Juno Temple.
Batman will deliver justice on July 20th!
