INGLORIOUS BASTERDS Footage!

Earlier this week during American Idol, the Weinstein Company unveiled some new footage and behind the scenes goodies from Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Nazi-killing epic INGLORIOUS BASTERDS–and lucky for you, you can check it out below!

The new clip features our first look at Mike Myers, looking old and kind of scary looking, as well as what happens when you run (yes, RUN) while firing a Gatling gun. And yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds. You want action? Look no further than Brad Pitt and his Nazi-bashing badasses.

Enjoy the following clip, and get ready for INGLORIOUS BASTERDS in theaters August 21st.

KILL SWITCH TV Premiere!

You probably haven’t had enough of your Steven Seagal fill for the week, even after this week’s OUT FOR JUSTICE Reel Action review, and lucky for you, we have more Seagal for ya to wrap up your Friday!

Seagal’s straight to DVD action flick KILL SWITCH is making the big move… to television. On Sunday, May 3rd at 10pm, KILL SWITCH will make its TV debut on Spike TV. What a time slot! Most STD’s of this nature stay STD, but only Seagal could bring it from DVD to TV… just like that!

In short, KILL SWITCH goes like this: Seagal plays homicide detective Jacob King, who is dedicated to tracking down serial killers after witnessing the brutal murder of his twin brother. On the heels of two ruthless killers, King decides to take the law into his own hands, enforcing his own methods of street justice.

Get some Seagal on Spike TV May 3rd.

SHOOT THE HERO Poster!!

We got a heads up from actress Samantha Lockwood about her new action flick SHOOT THE HERO, co-starring Jason Mewes and Danny Trejo. In it,a 30-something couple unintentionally become involved in a botched jewel heist while shopping for wedding rings. The plot thickens when the crooked casino owner who engineered the heist hires two unassuming hit men to clean up the mess, and the soon-to-be husband and wife find themselves discovering new things about themselves and their relationship.

We have a look at the new poster here, and it’s lookin’ pretty dope. Then again, give Trejo a gun and have him aim it at someone’s head like that, and I’m pretty much sold. This sucker has potential written all over it… let’s keep our guns sited on this one.

EXPENDABLES Pics!!!

EXPENDABLES is busting out on the net like it’s nobodies’ business. First, make sure you’re keeping tabs on its unofficial blog for updates from the set, cool-ass filming stories, and yes… these kick-ass new photos, featuring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The new pics practically bleed testosterone, and just think… these are just behind the scenes pics and not even official stills. By my count, that means this sucker is gonna look that much better when it’s finally released next April.

Also, keep an eye on the film’s TWITTER PAGE for even more updates and insight from the set. Can I stress how action-packed and full of awesomeness this film will be? Mark my words… this could be a sign of the return of the 80s action hero.

BTS Video from ICARUS!

Speaking of fun behind the scenes stuff, there’s a new video of Dolph Lundgren training for his upcoming action flick ICARUS online over THIS WAY. If you ever wanted to know what it takes to make an action movie, even the low-budget STD kind, check it out and take some notes. Lundgren owns as both actor and director on this one!

Since you’re dying to know, here’s the film’s official synopsis: There were those who called him Icarus. Everyone else knew him as a divorced father working for an investment company. But they didn’t know his other side—his dark side. Because Icarus (Dolph Lundgren) was at his best when he was killing people. For years, he’d worked as a sleeper agent in America—but when the Soviet Empire collapsed, he found himself in a foreign country with no one to trust. Determined to break from his dark past, he started over with a new identity. But you can only escape your past for so long.

When a sudden mishap in Hong Kong blows Icarus’ identity, past and present collide—and the assassin realizes he is now the target. The people that want him dead will stop at nothing to get to him. And that means going after what he cares about most—his wife and daughter. Fighting for his life, Icarus is forced to face the demons of his past to protect the loved ones in his present. He must fight to save the only thing he’s ever done right in his life. He needs to uncover who is after him and protect his family — before it’s too late.
