Are you ready to take on Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger? How about face the blade of Michael Myers on Halloween? Or would you like to delve into the demonic frights of THE EXORCIST? You can even explore the many atrocities behind American Horror Story! If this excites you, you must be a horror fan. Last week was the opening of this year’s wonderfully wicked Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. If you are looking for holiday horrors, you can’t do much better than this.
We at Arrow in the Head joined in on the fun with a very special guest. The man behind CABIN FEVER, HOSTEL and the recent THE GREEN INFERNO gave everybody with a fear of clowns something truly terrifying, and we went along for the ride. This year, Eli Roth presents a frightening journey into the heart of the Universal Studios back lot tour with a bloody brigade of white faced psychotic clowns threatening our very lives. And frankly, it was the best Terror Tram in years. There are scares a plenty! And while we faced them, Eli talked about being a part of such an exciting event and how cool it was to be walking right by the PSYCHO house! This is an amazing experience for anybody who loves to get scared.
Aside from Eli Roth’s Terror Tram experience, you can wander through the year long Walking Dead attraction, and take an outdoor stroll through The Purge scare zone. And then you have the mazes! American Horror Story, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, Freddy vs. Jason, Halloween and Krampus are all ready to give guests something to scream about. This may be the best year they’ve had in quite awhile. However, if you want to avoid the lines, it may be worth investing in a “Front of the Line” pass because you will find huge crowds looking to get their fright on.
