Alchemy will take you to Charlie's Farm on November 3rd

10.06.2015by: Cody Hamman

If you've seen MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (and if you haven't, why haven't you?), one of the characters who might have stood out to you is Rictus Erectus, largely because of the size of the man playing him, 6'11" powerlifter/retired wrestler Nathan Jones. When there's someone that size in the acting world, the horror genre can't just let them pass by, and Australian writer/director Chris Sun wisely cast Jones as slasher Charlie Wilson in his film CHARLIE'S FARM.

Synopsis:

In an effort to do something different, four friends head into Australia’s outback to explore Charlie’s Farm, the site where a violent family met their end at the hands of an angry mob. Despite all warnings, they persist in their horror-seeking adventure. Once there, the four friends are unaware that they are being watched. While exploring the property to prove the myth, they encounter Charlie, who shows them that some legends never die.

Tara Reid, Kane Hodder, Bill Moseley, Allira Jaques, Madeleine Kennedy, Genna Chanelle Hayes, Dean Kirkright, and Sam Coward play some of Charlie's potential victims.

CHARLIE'S FARM has been available in Australia and the UK for a little while now, but we slasher fans in the US don't have much longer to wait for it. Thanks to Alchemy, the movie will be hitting DVD on November 3rd.

I've been looking forward to seeing CHARLIE'S FARM ever since I heard there was a slasher in the works that would co-star Hodder and Moseley, and became even more hyped for it when the trailer gave me a glimpse of Jones's Charlie in action. I can't wait to watch that guy tear through a group of unlucky characters.

If you're as interested in CHARLIE'S FARM as I am, you can pre-order the DVD right here.
