Back in November of last year we told you about the upcoming SUMMER CAMP, a new contagion horror flick from Pantelion and Filmax that will star Diego Boneta and will be directed by Alberto Marini, scribe of SLEEP TIGHT and exec producer of cult zombie franchise REC. REC's co-director, Jaume Balaguero, will also serve as an executive producer. Now more casting news has come in for SUMMER CAMP as HOUSE OF THE DEVIL's Jocelin Donahue, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS's Alex Gonzalez, and Maiara Walsh have signed on to star, according to Variety.
SUMMER CAMP begins its shoot February 24 in Barcelona.
Summer Camp centers on three American camp counselors who show up for their summer jobs at an English-language camp in Spain and come face-to-face with a virus unlike anything seen before.
Hopefully SUMMER CAMP will be a gross-out good time. More on the film as we hear it!
