Alien: Covenant casting call reveals interesting details on the sequel

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Casting has commenced in Australia for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS sequel/ALIEN prequel ALIEN: COVENANT, and casting agency MCTV (via AVP Galaxy) has the first details on who the production is looking for… to play aliens?!

While it can’t be confirmed the following is a call for people who can slip into xenomorph suits, it’s also quite likely that Scott and company aren’t asking for acrobats to play human extras.

Age range: 8-40

Physical attributes: Skinny and very tall or skinny and very short but strong and very physically agile.

Other skills: Fast in movement. Acrobats, Dancers, Gymnasts, Contortionists, Cirque du Soleil type performers.

Katherine Waterston, Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are the only “human” cast members that we know of thus far, but expect that to change soon as the film gears up for production. It’s due to be released October 6, 2017. Here’s the synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
