Amanda Seyfried reunites with director Andrew Niccol for his thriller Anon

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

It's an IN TIME reunion! Amanda Seyfried is re-teaming with director Andrew Niccol, taking a role in his upcoming sci-fi thriller ANON. Seyfried has recently been seen in the surprisingly decent TED 2, but she is perhaps best known for MEAN GIRLS and her musical roles in LES MISÉRABLES and MAMMA MIA!

However, she's no stranger to genre filmmaking, having appeared in RED RIDING HOOD and JENNIFER'S BODY, but this thriller promises to be a little more… thrilling. Seyfried will also be taking a role in the upcoming season of Twin Peaks.

In ANON, Clive Owen is:

a detective in a world with no privacy, ignorance or anonymity. All our lives are transparent, traceable and recorded by the authorities. It’s the end of crime, it seems. However, when Owen’s character stumbles on a young woman (Seyfried) with no digital footprint and invisible to the police, he discovers it may not be the end of crime but the beginning.

More news on this modern thriller as it breaks!
