We just got through talking about Robert Patrick's latest gig, so let's see what his old "X-Files" partner Annabeth Gish is up to nowadays, shall we? Gish has joined the cast of Mike Flanagan's psychological horror film SOMNIA, reports Deadline.com. The actress jumps aboard a cast that already includes Thomas Jane, Kate Bosworth and Jacob Tremblay.

SOMNIA focuses on...

an orphaned child whose dreams — and nightmares — manifest physically as he sleeps.

Gish will play the case worker assigned to the troubled youngster.

Production began last week on SOMNIA, which Demarest Films and MICA Entertainment are financing. Intrepid Pictures’ Trevor Macy and Demarest’s Sam Englebardt and William D. Johnson are producing. Mali Elfman and D. Scott Lumpkin will serve as Executive Producers on the Picture.

Extra Tidbit: Were you a fan of the Patrick-Gish pairing on "The X-Files"?

Cool!

This actually sounds similar to an X-Files episode she was in about a kid who's imagination created monsters, hopefully this will be good!

Extra tidbit: They weren't as good as Mulder and Scully, to be honest. However, they're an interesting duo that got the job done and carried the show with dignity.
