Anton Yelchin is no stranger to the fanged baddies of our beloved genre. That’s right folks, I’m talking vampires! The youngster was recently up against a pretty badass vamp at that in FRIGHT NIGHT and now he’ll be revisiting the world of vampires with ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE.
According to Deadline New York the actor has just signed on to the film, which is coming at us courtesy of director Jim Jarmusch. Yelchin (above) joins the previously cast Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska (below) and John Hurt.
ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE is described as an unusual love story between two vampires who have been in love for centuries.
Filming on ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE is set to kick off this Summer in Germany. We’ll of course keep our eyes open for more on this one so be sure to check back soon for any updates that roll our way.
