On tap for ya this morning we have the first clip from Corin Hardy's THE HALLOW, which is making its World Premiere this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival.

Hardy, who has recently been tapped by Relativity Studios to direct its remake THE CROW, displays a technical elegance and sophisticated approach to the macabre in this modern and disquieting horror fable. This first clip is rather atmospheric and I’m curious to find out what kind of response this film gets this weekend because it will give us an idea of what kind of style we might see in THE CROW reboot.

Here’s what we know about THE HALLOW:

When a London-based conservationist is sent to Ireland to survey an area of ancient forest believed by the superstitious locals to be hallowed ground, he unwittingly disturbs a horde of terrifying beings and must fight to protect his family.

THE HALLOW stars Joseph Mawle, Bojana Novakovic, Michael McElhatton, Michael Smiley. It is making its World Premiere this Sunday, January 25th in the Midnight Section at the Sundance Film Festival.
