On MARCH 20th, Anchor Bay Entertainment will release BATTLE ROYALE: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray and DVD for the first time in North America. Featuring state-of-the-art HD transfers, hi-res audio and a wealth of bonus features that delve deep into this truly international phenomenon - the three disc Blu-ray plus bonus DVD set has an SRP of $49.99 and an SRP $44.98 for the four disc DVD. The set will include:

· Battle Royale Director’s Cut with both Japanese and English language tracks and English subtitles

What more can be said? This is a must-own, plai and simple - especially for a guy like me who still hasn't seen part two. I know, that's a crime, but it's going to be corrected on MARCH 20th.

Extra Tidbit: Are you stoked for the BATTLE ROYALE collection on Blu-ray?

Finally!

I imported the excellent Arrow Video release from the UK, but I'll still pick this up just for BRII since that wasn't included. Am I reading the article correctly and the only single release of BR 1 is the Director's Cut? Personally I thought the requiems added to the end of the DC were awful and dragged it out too much. Theatrical cut for me. People need to go into BRII with realistic expectations too if they haven't seen it. It has an (even more) ridiculous premise, but it's still pretty
