Beware the moonlight with this trailer, images from UK horror Pounce

Lookee what we have for you, today! We got our grubby little hands on a trailer and some images from a fun looking UK-lensed creature feature titled POUNCE, and it looks like it has the potential to be a gory good time.

Written and produced/directed by Keith R. Robinson, POUNCE stars Kelly Wines, Lucy Clarvis, Phil Stone, Jordan Murphy, John Hoye, and Matt Brewer. The trailer below shares some of the red stuff we genre fans love so much, but if you want a better look at the beastie in the film you’ll have to scroll down to check out the images.

POUNCE is a horror/thriller film about a group of conspiracy theorists that are secretly watching a top secret military base in the desolate Welsh mountains. They are looking for experimental and highly classified test aircraft to report about in a magazine, when they suddenly discover a highly lethal creature (secretly discovered in the 1920’s) which the military and the government are testing whose fur has the ability to turn invisible in moonlight. The film follows their plight as they are hunted both by the creature (which the Army has nicknamed “The Silverhide”) and the military, who will stop at nothing to keep their classified specimen a secret…

He’s an ugly lil’ bastard, ain’t he? Looks like the filmmakers have chosen to use some practical effects work on the monster instead of relying on CG, so POUNCE could have an old-school CRITTERS/GHOULIES vibe going for it, and that’s a good thing!

No word on when we’ll be seeing this badboy but we’ll keep ya updated!
