Hitting theaters this October is Universal's DRACULA UNTOLD, a new origin story starring Luke Evans as the titular vamp, and today we have a few new images, including some behind-the-scenes shots, for you to check out.
These latest images follow last months reveal of the official domestic poster and first trailer for the flick, and while they don't give us too much to go on at least it's something new. Still, I'm hoping to see more from this film as we get closer to its October 17 release date to sell me on wanting to check this one out as right now I'm very much on the fence about it. I dug the trailer enough but it didn't completely sell me on plunking down my cash to peep it in theaters.
The film also stars Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, Zach McGowan, Samantha Barks, Thor Kristjansson and Art Parkinson. In the film…
“Luke Evans is starring as the most famous of vampires in an origin story that sees a Transylvanian prince risk eternal damnation in order to save his wife and son from a Turkish horde. Barks will play a figure in Eastern European folk tales known as a baba yaga, a beautiful young woman who turns into a savage witch. Kristjansson will play Bright Eyes, an Eastern European taken as a slave as a young boy and now a vicious assassin in the Ottoman Army. Parkinson will play Dracula’s son, named Ingeras.“
