Something ghastly haunts Golgotha Cemetery an entity of unspeakable eviland insatiable hunger. It is the summer of 1984, a time that should be full of lazy, carefree days for 12-year-old Timmy (Gould) and his two best friends, Doug and Barry. But when a teenaged couple goes missing among the gravestones of the local cemetery, the bloodcurdling legend of a horrific ghoul begins to seem more like reality than myth. As the body count rises, Timmy and his friends are forced to confront their worst fears when they unearth long-buried secrets and unleash not only their personal demonsbut also the one lurking underground!

GHOUL was directed by Gregory Wilson and stars Nolan Gould, Crystal Rivers, Andrea Frankle, Mattie Liptak, Glen Warner, Zach Rand and Barry Corbin.

FYI: Ghoul is not really a horror movie

Ghoul is not a horror movie. Chiller advertised Ghoul as one, and the tale does have a ghoul character. The DVD art promises a horror movie because the cover has a ghoul character who barely appears in the movie. However, please know, a viewer should expect a pretty good coming-of-age story, not a horror movie. People should not be surprised (and a little disappointed) such as I was.
