Actress Mischa Barton is on quite a horror streak these days, and next month will see the release of three genre movies that have her in their cast. Earlier this week we shared trailers for THE BASEMENT, which will be getting a digital and 10 market theatrical release on September 14th, and THE TOYBOX, which reaches theatres and VOD on September 18th, and now here's one that will be beating both of those out into the world – the supernatural thriller OUIJA HOUSE.

OUIJA HOUSE will be released on DVD and digital on September 4th. Special features on the DVD include a commentary with members of the cast and crew, plus the official trailer. If you'd like to purchase a copy, you can do so on Amazon.

Directed by SHARKNADO cinematographer Ben Demaree, OUIJA HOUSE stars Barton, Tara Reid, Dee Wallace, Tiffany Shepis, Carly Schroeder, Mark Grossman, Grace Demarco, Derrick A. King, Sarah French, Eva Hamilton, Erin K. Clark, and Susan Slaughter.

The story crafted by Jeff Miller and Justin Hawkins follows

a graduate student who, trying to finish the last of her research on a book project she hopes will help her down-on-her-luck mother, brings friends to a house with a dark past, where they soon unwittingly summon an evil entity who makes the house part of its game.

A co-production between Millman Productions and ITN Films, OUIJA HOUSE was produced by Jeff Miller, with Stuart Alson, Ronnie D. Lee, David Coppa, Felix McNulty, Tom Hillery, Ray Young, Kwang Rae Choi, Thomas Webert, Ameer Fawaz, and Albert Avramovic executive producing and Dylan Matlock, Justin Hawkins, Tom Nagel, and Carly Schroeder co-producing. Maytal Mizrahi served as associate producer.

Looks like next month will be a good time to have a Mischa Barton horror marathon!
