Last Updated on July 21, 2021

UPDATED: We’ve removed the storyboard images at the request of the studio.

Stephen King’s IT is my favorite book of all-time. I’ve read it so many times that I know it by heart (go ahead and test me). Naturally, the upcoming film version on IT is my MOST anticipated flick of 2017. You can keep your Marvel movies and your LAST JEDI’s (by the way, speaking of THE LAST JEDI, here is a funny pic you might enjoy).

Anyway, being that I am obsessed with all things IT, I am making it my goal to keep you guys up to date on ALL news on the upcoming flick(s). Including a new set of storyboards recently slapped online. Check em out:

REMOVED AT REQUEST OF STUDIO

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller IT, directed by Andrés Muschietti (MAMA) is based on the novel by Stephen King (duh) and stars Bill Skarsgård (Hemlock Grove) as the story’s central villain, Pennywise alongside an ensemble of young actors, including Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy).

Here is the film’s synopsis via WB:

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids is faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT is directed by Muschietti from a screenplay adapted by Chase Palmer & Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg and Barbara Muschietti are producing. It is slated for release on September 8, 2017.

QUESTION: Does anyone know if this new version of IT will feature the Ritual of Chud? If you have any info, hit a brother up: [email protected]
