Starting tonight the newest entry in the SAW series will be hitting cinemas – for better or worse. I sincerely hope the flick is good. I’m rooting for it. I dig the more polished look this new flick sports, as opposed to the rust and filth vibe of the original films.

Until I have the chance to check it out first-hand this final JIGSAW poster will have to do. It features our man Tobin Bell aka John Kramer all “Joker’d” up and ready to rumble.

JIGSAW synopsis:

Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation?

JIGSAW is directed by Michael and Peter Spierig from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger and stars Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Hannah Emily Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles, Paul Braunstein, Brittany Allen, and Josiah Black.

JIGSAW is scheduled to reach theaters (and IMAX) on October 27th.
