The kind folks at Warner Bros. have provided us with a new 60-second TV spot for their May release, CHERNOBYL DIARIES; you can peep it below. This comes on the heels of the debut of the first official still yesterday, so obviously the studio is now really putting its marketing department to work; we have just over a month until we can check out the latest micro-budget horror effort from producer Oren Peli.

The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…

CHERNOBYL DIARIES was directed by Brad Parker and written by Oren Peli, Carey Van Dyke and Shane Van Dyke. It hits theaters on MAY 25th.
