Read part one of the Oldboy inspired graphic novel The Devil’s Eyes

The folks over at FilmDistrict have released the first of a three part series for their OLDBOY inspired graphic novel titled "The Devil's Eyes", and we thought we would pass it along for those of you looking for an early fix on Spike Lee's brutal thriller. I'm not much of a graphic novel reader, but I did skim through the first part of the story and it seems decent enough—I'll let you guys be the judge of that though! Part one is titled "The Rat" and you can read the first bit of the story right HERE. Below we've got a look at the very cool cover art, and from what I understand they'll be releasing part 2 and 3 as we lead up to the film's theatrical release.

Here's the set-up for "The Devil's Eyes":

It’s a dirty business, but someone has to run the private hotel where clients pay to have people incarcerated in a cruel operation that runs outside the law. When its current warden loses his mind, unseen forces put plans in motion to recruit a man who can clean house and take over… a man named Chaney.

OLDBOY will star Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley, Samuel Jackson, Bruce Hornsby, and James Ransone and was directed by Spike Lee from a script by Mark Protosevich. The film was produced by Roy Lee, Doug Davison, and Nathan Kahane. Look for it in theaters on November 27, 2013.
