ET got their hands on a sneak peak at the official trailer for the Chloe Moretz starring CARRIE and there’s not a whole lot to look at but hey, I guess it’s better than nothing. Tomorrow, ET will have an exclusive first look at footage from the brand-new trailer. The clip below is only a few seconds of footage but if you concentrate hard enough you’ll actually see some cool little moments. For those of you who don’t feel like waiting until tomorrow, you can whet your appetite right now with the video clip below!
Moretz will play the legendary role of CARRIE in the reboot of Stephen King’s classic novel which will be directed by Kimberly Pierce
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.
CARRIE will hit theaters October 18th!
