Actress Fiona Dourif did us all a solid and shared the soundtrack cover from CURSE OF CHUCKY via her Instagram account (accompanied by the words "It's my head on a soundtrack!"). And wouldn't you know it, the Chuckster himself is front and center!

Obviously, Chucky's previous scarred and stitched look is gone, replaced by a more clean-faced visage reminiscent of the first couple of films. What do you think?

Heading straight to DVD this October, here's what CURSE OF CHUCKY is all about:

Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mothers affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nicas plans for the future, Barbs young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesnt know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. Hes determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time hes going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

Chucky's scary again

I like it - they've finally managed to make Chucky creepy again and take him back to a time when he used to scare the bejesus out of me.

I'm still on the fence til i see a trailer to be honest. I wish this was going into theatres. I am glad they are moving away from the Bride (which I love) and Seed (which i didn't) trajectory. I just rewatched the original and was surprised I'd forgotten how straight it's played. Not only that it genuinley works. People need to have more faith in their product than focusing on some of the admitedly ridiculous story elements. Hire the right people and you can make a serious scary movie out

Interesting...

Hopefully this film will revive the franchise, and put Chucky back on the map, looking forward to seeing this!

There's something about Chucky's hairstyle. He looks like one of 1990s Boy Band.
