About a month ago, our Polish madman Andy M. mentioned that the lovely Keri Russell (pictured) was in talks to headline DARK SKIES, Scott Stewart’s newest supernatural endeavor. Well, it’s official folks, Russell has indeed accepted the gig. We’ll now await to hear if the other name mentioned at the time, Daniel Barrett, will also be confirmed.
Entering production this summer:
Dark Skies is a psychological thriller about a suburban couple whose lives become a nightmare when a terrifying alien presence enters their home each night to prey upon their children. Increasingly isolated from skeptical friends and neighbors, the couple is forced to take matters into their own hands to save their family.
Skeptical friends huh? Sounds like all AITH readers’ feelings toward Stewart after giving us the dopey PRIEST and LEGION. However, if Russell can be as charming as she was say in LEAVES OF GRASS, half the battle is won.
