Cool Horror Gear: Volumes of Blood Body Count Card Game

As most of you know well and good by this point, all of us here at AITH are big fans of producer P.J. Starks' horror anthology series VOLUMES OF BLOOD and VOLUMES OF BLOOD: HORROR STORIES.

It is with this in mind that we wanted to make sure that you guys were aware that the series now has an official board game! Pretty cool, huh? The game is called Volumes of Blood: Body Count and today we have an exclusive quote from producer P.J. Starks regarding how the game can to be. Check it out!

Producer P.J. Starks:

Josh and his crew at Mythmakers approached us at a con and pitched us a very cool concept for turning the VOB cinematic universe into a slasher game. We worked out the details and they worked their magic. I personally am not a fan of tabletop card games and I was kinda skeptical at first as to how effective out movies could be as a game. But after playing several rounds I have to admit it was an absolute blast. They've taken the game around to other cons, sent it out to professional players who all loved the experience. After one of the initial trial-runs where actors from the films got a chance to play, actress Cindy Maples told me, "this was fun. It's the kind of game that will turn friends into enemies." That made me realize we had a winner on our hands. We can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the game now that it's out there.
