It's almost Halloween, kiddos, so I hope you're in the mood for some trick or treating. And we have quite the treat for you today as we wrap up our month long AWFULLY GOOD MOVIES: OCTOBER MONSTER MASH as we take a look at Stephen Sommers' 2004 suck-fest VAN HELSING, which stars Hugh Jackman as the titular badass who goes up against three famed Universal monsters: Dracula, the Wolfman, and Frankenstein's creature. While the idea of seeing Jackman's Van Helsing take on these baddies probably sounded good on paper, the film itself is anything but good.

VAN HELSING epitomizes everything that could go wrong with action blockbusters and in our final OCTOBER MONSTER MASH of this Halloween season we break the film down in hilarious fashion. But, with so much bad in the film, there has to be some redeeming qualities, right? Sure…namely Kate Beckinsale and her hot ass. I can stare at that woman all day long!
