The Hallow Corin Hardy

Yesterday was probably the first time a lot of us were introduced to up-and-coming director Corin Hardy, who replaced F. Javier Gutiérrez to direct the remake of THE CROW, and now we’re getting our very first peek at his feature film debut, THE HALLOW. I noted the interesting choice behind Hardy getting the nod to bring THE CROW back to life simply because his first film hasn’t even been released yet. That film, THE HALLOW, will be making its World Premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival and it looks/sounds pretty f*cking cool. I’m curious to find out what kind of response this one gets because it will give us an idea of what kind of style we might see in THE CROW reboot.

Here’s what we know about it:

When a London-based conservationist is sent to Ireland to survey an area of ancient forest believed by the superstitious locals to be hallowed ground, he unwittingly disturbs a horde of terrifying beings and must fight to protect his family.

THE HALLOW stars Joseph Mawle, Bojana Novakovic, Michael McElhatton, Michael Smiley.
