Could Pinhead be coming to the small screen?! Hellraiser: The Series being eyed!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Hollywood just can’t let ‘Pinhead’ rest in peace can they? From horrid sequels to unneeded remakes, it seems we just keep getting force-fed HELLRAISER fare that we don’t want. But perhaps there’s some silver lining here…. Like a “Hellraiser” TV series?!

That’s the going word over at Variety, which has Sonar Entertainment (previously RHI Entertainment) and Eric Gardner’s Panacea Ent. teaming to develop “Hellraiser,” a TV series which would of course be based on the cult British horror franchise. Mind you nothing has been greenlit just yet but it looks like it’s only a matter of time.

One of the most successful (and terrifying) franchises in film history is ready for its weekly television debut. For over 25 years, fans have followed the exploits of an insidious villain named Pinhead, summoned from a nightmarish underworld by an ancient puzzle box. He will seduce you with power and tempt you with fear, until your soul belongs to him. Now, for the first time, a weekly series set in the fantastic realm of Hellraiser will thrill audiences worldwide.

The kicker here is that Gardner will be executive producing with Larry Kuppin, whose New World Entertainment brought us the first two HELLRAISER films. So there’s an intriguing little tidbit…

So what do you guys think? Unfortunately that’s all the details we have for you right now so we’ll have to go off that. You digging a “Hellraiser” TV series? Make sure to spit some bullets below and get talking about this one!

We’ll of course keep our eyes peeled for any and all updates regarding “Hellraiser” in the coming weeks. When we come across something new you can bet we’ll be right here to tell you about it.
