Scream Factory has just announced their upcoming Blu-ray for Wes Craven’s classic THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS, and with that is an early look at the artwork! While details are being kept in the basement, they do mention that we can expect the film to drop sometime in August with pre-order links going up in May.

The newly designed artwork you see here is official (Purists: Yes, the classic "skull house" original poster art will be on the flip side too). Again, while they don't mention any specifics on what will be found in the Special Features, they do say that "we already have two all-new ones banked and more planned," so there's that.

In the film:

Trapped inside a fortified home owned by a mysterious couple, a young boy is suddenly thrust into a nightmare. The boy quickly learns the true nature of the house's homicidal inhabitants and the secret creatures hidden deep within the house.
