Daniel Radcliffe takes a nap in the first clip from The Woman in Black

I’m going to be completely honest here folks – At first I had absolutely no interest in James Watkins’ THE WOMAN IN BLACK. I’m just not a huge fan of period-pieces. For that matter I’m not a huge fan of Daniel Radcliffe either…

But needless to say the more I’ve seen from this flick the more I’m intrigued. This thing actually looks like it might be pretty damn creepy! And that sentiment continues today with the release of the flick’s first clip!

The clip, which comes courtesy of MTV, features Mr. Radcliffe as he lays his head down for a quick cat-nap but doesn’t count on someone sneaking up behind him. Yeah buddy! Just scroll on down below to check that shite out.

The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

Along with Radcliffe the flick is also set to star Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire. It’s due to hit theaters in just a few weeks on February 3rd so expect more updates from this one as we near that release.
