Dario Argento's Dracula 3D gets a cheesy, spoiler-heavy promo trailer

Dec. 15, 2011by: Eric Walkuski

My goodness, what hath Dario Argento wrought this time?

A promo trailer for Argento's DRACULA 3D has hit the net, and we're more than eager to share it with you. No one should go on living without seeing this thing first. It contains what seems like a good number of spoilers, but c'mon now, we all know the story.

You'll have to forgive the wonky visual effects, because they're obviously not finished. You'll also have to forgive (and embrace) the ample helping of ridiculousness. There are so many stunning visuals and hilarious bits of overacting awaiting you; just hunker down, strap on a bib and chow down on this big hunk of cheese.

Starring Rutger Hauer, Asia Argento, Thomas Kretschmann and Marta Gastini, DRACULA 3D will hit in 2012.

Thanks to "Dave" for the heads-up!

This looks absolutely retarded, and not in an intentional "so bad it's good" way. I have lost all interest in this film.

I say bless the moron that put this trailer together. Now I don't have to pay money to see the movie, just watched it in 2 minutes or less.

Given up on Argento

Much like Romero, I've given up hope that Argento will ever direct a good movie again.

If reviews for this are good, I'll bite. But I highly doubt the reviews will be anything but bad.

This looks embarrassing for everyone involved. It reminded me about the Buffy movie or Dracula Dead and Loving It in comedic tone (not helped by Hauer's presence) I kept expecting Kristy Swanson to cartwheel in or Leslie Neilson to pop up.

i'm beginning to think that when he made 'suspiria' and 'inferno' he was just really, really lucky or really, really high.
