David Brooks’ trapped thriller ATM scores itself some release dates

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

One flick I’ve actually been looking forward to since first hearing about it is David Brooks’ ATM. I don’t know what it is, but something about this one hooked me from the beginning and I haven’t been able to wiggle free. But you know what… I don’t want to! Especially after hearing today’s news!

You see it was just last week that Eric hit us all with the trailer for ATM but the thing is… it still didn’t have a release date! What’s up with that, right? Well thankfully IFC Midnight were quick to fix that problem and have now tapped ATM with both a Video on Demand release as well as a theatrical one. Considering ATM will be dropping onto VOD before theaters, my guess is the theatrical release will be of the limited variety. But enough rambling, you want the dates right? Check it: ATM will be hitting Video on Demand services starting March 2nd followed by an April 6th theatrical release. Damn that’s still a ways away.

After leaving their company Christmas Party together, David Hargrove and Emily Brandt’s impromptu first date takes an unexpected turn when their coworker, Corey, asks them to make a late-night stop at an ATM. What should be a routine transaction turns into a desperate struggle for survival when an unknown man appears outside the vestibule. With the wintry temperatures dipping below freezing, and the morning sunrise still hours away, they have no choice but to play the man’s deadly game of cat-and-mouse.

Coming from a script by Chris Sparling, ATM stars Brian Geraghty, Josh Peck and Alice Eve (below). Mark it on your calenders folks – ATM hits VOD on March 2nd before terrorizing theaters on April 6th.
