It was eleven months ago when we first learned that Shout! Factory had acquired from DC MEDIAS the U.S and Canadian distribution rights to popular French horror action thriller DEAD SHADOWS, produced and directed by David Cholewa and starring our very own John "The Arrow" Fallon, and today we know when to expect to see this badboy hit the shelves as Scream Factory took to thier official Facebook page to drop the news on us that DEAD SHADOWS will be landing on DVD and Blu-ray on April 22 2014! Hell yeah!

David Cholewa’s first feature film tells the terrifying story of...

...a young man, Chris, whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago, on the same day that the comet of Haley could be seen from earth. Tonight, a new comet is going to appear and everyone in his building are getting ready for a party to celebrate the event. There's even an apocalypse theory going around. As the night falls, Chris starts to discover that people are acting strange - and it seems to somehow be connected to the comet. People are becoming disoriented and violent and it doesn't take long before they start mutating into something from beyond this world. In a fight for survival, Chris has to try to escape from his building with the help from some other tenants - but will they make it out alive?

DEAD SHADOWS will contain its original French language track (with English subtitles) along with an English-dubbed track option. More details - including film clips and extras - will emerge in the next couple of months. We'll be sure to keep you posted!

Well good. I have waited a long fucking time to see this movie. We have all waited a long time. Plus, the 22nd is two days after Easter, so Dead Shadows will provide balance in a horrorhead's life.
