Dead Mouse Productions LTD, Cult Screenings UK LTD, and Michael Perez Productions, the production team that previously brought us the retrospective documentaries ROBODOC and PENNYWISE: THE STORY OF IT, have announced that they are now working on a documentary that will delve into the making of a film I consider to be one of the coolest horror movies of the '80s, 1988's NIGHT OF THE DEMONS.

NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is a really fun movie with a wonderful Halloween spookshow atmosphere and one of the most memorable dance scenes ever (along with the most memorable lipstick scene ever). It was followed by two sequels and a remake, to varying degrees of success. While there are a lot of fans who actually prefer NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 2 over the first, the original film remains my favorite.

The sequels and remake will also be covered in the documentary, which has the title THE PARTY'S JUST BEGUN: THE LEGACY OF NIGHT OF THE DEMONS.

This documentary covers each film extensively with interviews from the cast and crew. Also featuring exclusive behind the scenes footage and photos, this is one party you don't want to be caught dead missing!

The team behind THE PARTY'S JUST BEGUN promises that there is exciting news about the documentary coming soon, as they're going to start announcing the names of cast members who are taking part in the interview process.

For now, the news that this documentary is going to exist is already very exciting to me. Classic franchises have been given some great, detailed documentaries recently, and hopefully this one will dig just as deeply into the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS films as other documentaries have dug into the FRIDAY THE 13TH and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET movies.
