Dread poster / pic!

The good folks over at Fangoria scored the exclusive first look at the poster for Clive Barker’s DREAD, one of the eight horror films rockin’ this year’s After Dark’s Horrorfest: 8 Films to Die For.

I like the new look and style to the poster, which I can only assume will be similar across the board for the other films in the Horrorfest. I’m also diggin’ the striking imagery of the chick in the corner, the scrawled-out title, and the fact there’s not just a bunch of floating heads staring off into nowhere. This baby’s slick, yo!

The Horrorfest runs from January 29-February 4, 2010, and is once again looking to be the end-all be-all of horror film festivals able to screen its films nationwide.

Based on a story by Clive Barker, DREAD is about three college students set out to document what other people dread most, and stars Jackson Rathbone, Hanne Steen, Laura Donnelly, Jonathan Readwin, and Shaun Evans. While we’re at it, you can also check out a brand-new pic from the film below. Yum!
