DARKMAN TRILOGY – August 7th

The great Sam Raimi busted out a new kind of superhero when he came out with DARKMAN: one that doesn’t give a f*ck, and one that digs on wearing other people’s faces. Both Liam Neeson and Arnold Vosloo kicked ass in the title role, and now you can catch the original plus it’s two sequels on this sweet looking double disc ‘franchise collection’! No real special features have been announced, but with a line-up like this, you know it’s gonna be phat!

WELCOME TO THE GRINDHOUSE: BLACK CANDLES/ EVIL EYE – July 3rd

I’m finally getting over the fact that GRINDHOUSE was a box office failure, and not the b.o. slaughterhouse I thought it was gonna be. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t love the shite outta it! And now we get to spread the GRINDHOUSE love with this double feature of a couple flicks that are so violent and disturbing, they’re releasing them both unrated. This is the real deal Grindhouse folks, with both these bitches coming from the 1970s. Gotta love it.

And while I’m getting over the fact that GRINDHOUSE bombed, I’m still not over the fact that QT’s DEATH PROOF has been slammed by more people than not. Where’s the love, yo? It rocked my world and then some… and this Grindhouse double-feature is looking to hit the same vein DP was going for: cars and female exploitation. Shit, this makes me wish that I was back in grade school…

HELLBOY ANIMATED: BLOOD & IRON – June 12th

Following the same format as the last animated HELLBOY flick, this latest entry in the animated series looks to be packed with plenty of extras to go around. Plus, it comes with an entire 32 page comic book! Now how sweet is THAT? At the very least, this will hold you over until HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY is unleashed in theaters… next year.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON –July 17th – Because what better way to prepare for Edward Norton to smash it up than reliving this classic series!

DRIVE THRU –May 29th – Because you always knew eating fast food would kill you, and now you have proof!

MEATBALL MACHINE –May 29th –
Because the cover is impressive, and I love me a foot-long meatball sandwich any day of the week!
