The lack-luster sequel is busting out with a lack-luster DVD cover, though no more info is known about the release, what we do know is that this cover sucks donkey balls. And the special features listed are really the special features Fox Atomic are advertising for this release. Wow. I can’t wait.

The Goods:

SPAWN: THE ANIMATED COLLECTION – July 24th

For those fans of the David Keith-voiced SPAWN series, prepare to bust a nut in your own mouth, as the entire animated series is gearing up for this single-disc release. Maybe not as stylistic as the comics, this series did SPAWN and his cronies justice, and is worthy of a rental for those who haven’t experienced it before.

THE MONSTER SQUAD – July 24th

Yes, you cranky hordes of MONSTER SQUAD fans, the day has finally come. MONSTER SQUAD is coming to DVD for the FIRST TIME EVER in this 2 disc special collector’s edition! While I’m a HUGE fan of the original poster art, this slick and shiny new cover is pretty sweet too. From the view we have hear, I can already hear that YES, Wolfman indeed has nards.

The Goods:

BRUTAL – June 10th

Don’t know if this is brutal cause it’s violent, or just brutal to sit through cause it sucks so hard, but either way it may be worth a looky-loo, as it claims to be a mix between the gorefest HOSTEL and the horrorfest SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. How that is even possible, I don’t even know, but I sure as hell would like to see em try! And did I mention genre ninja Jeffrey Combs is in it? That right there should have you pre-ordering this badboy before it’s sold out. And you KNOW it’s gonna be sold out.

FIRE SERPENT –June 19th – Because Sci-Fi Original movies about fire serpents spells F-U-N with a capital F!

TALES FROM THE CRYPT: THE COMPLETE SIXTH SEASON –July 24th – Because when has the Crypt Keeper ever let you down?

TROG –June 26th –
Because the concept, cover and all around bizarreness of this movie is one that should be viewed by everyone. Then burned in the furnace.
