THE MONSTER SQUAD (UPDATE) – July 24th
I told you last week that the special features were TBA, and I wasn’t jokin’ around! Today I have the features in all their awesome 2 disc special edition glory, and all I can say is: wow. THIS, my fellow DVD-loving friends, is what happens when you have to wait. No crappy mono audio, or a featureless DVD, but maybe the MOTHER of all DVD releases of the year! Boo-Ya! Plus, interview with Frankenstein??? I’d throw down $20 for the DVD just for that!

ROBOCOP: 20th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTORS EDITION – August 21st
Much like the pimped out MONSTER SQUAD, the DVD Gods are rewarding us again with this fully packed 20th Anniversary Edition of maybe one of the best violent action movies of all time. If you missed the Criterion Collection release, no fear, as this beast has both the Rated and Unrated cuts of the film, and enough features to make anyone wanna come back as an android officer of the law… and blow all the bad guys away. It doesn’t get any better than this.

PREMONITION – July 17th
Much like Julian McMahon in the picture below, this movie and subsequent DVD will make you fall asleep faster than landing Sandra Bullock in the sack. Two words for you: Blooper Reel. Are you flippin’ joking me? Blooper Reel? Really? Hmmmm… then again, maybe the Blooper Reel will be worth a rental alone…

EVIL ALIENS – October 2nd
The much acclaimed, yet highly unseen Jake West alien filled gorefest is slamming the DVD circuit this October (just in time for that wonderful holiday known as Halloween), with both rated and unrated versions. That rated version is for all you schmucks renting it from Blockbuster, the unrated version is for all of us who have the balls to pick this up from somewhere else. Be sure to load your NetFlix Que early, I have a feeling this one is gonna be in HIGH demand!

THE CRADLE –June 31st – Because is stars Lucas Haas. I can’t think of a better reason than that.
DRIFTWOOD –November 13th – Because it features a documentary by Ryan Rotten, fellow horror fan and online journalist who’s made it big. Show the man some love!

Because I had a friend in high school who delivered pizza to MC Hammer once. Seriously.
