THEM (a.k.a. ILS) – February 26th

Eric, the international horror movie news journalist featured here on AITH and The
Arrow himself, gave me the thumbs up for THEM – apparently it rocked
their socks off, and scared the piss out of them at the same time. For a movie to do both, well… then you know you’re dealing with a winner. Hell, I’ll admit it… even the cover kind of scares me. I don’t know why, it just does.

RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR – January 29th

When I was a kid, I had a buddy visit Los Angeles for the summer. About mid-July I received a postcard in the mail featuring a dude in a gas mask surrounded by smoke, with the tagline ‘Welcome to L.A.’ When I was a kid, this was f*ckin’ hilarious (get it, cause of the SMOG and pollution L.A.’s known for… get it?), and even today I find it amusing. So what’s the point of all this? This cover art reminds me of that post card. That is all.

RICCO THE MEAN MACHINE – January 29th

For the first time ever (and yes, I did my reseach) RICCO THE MEAN MACHINE is headed to DVD to f*ck households up with a sawed off shot fun and some attitude! Gore, gratuitous nudity, and one badass mofo makes this grindhouse feature one to look out for. Even if you haven’t seen it (and considering it’s the first time on DVD, I’m sure most haven’t), I suggest picking this up opening day and relish in the film that inspired Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE. And no, this ain’t your uncle Ricco throwing pigskins back in ’82, this is Ricco, hellbent on revenge and ready for action.

ZODIAC: THE DIRECTOR’S CUT –January 8th – Because it’s the version David Fincher wanted us to see!

SATANIC SLUTS –January 29th – Because sometimes all you need is a really good title!

MANEATER –January 8th – Because it features a man eating tiger and Gary ‘Substance A’Busey!
