MONSTROID: IT CAME FROM THE LAKE -January 15th

I just watched this not too long ago as a creature feature hosted by none other than Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. It was awesome….ly bad. Shitty, would be a good word for it, though I mean it in the best way possible. I giant dude in a rubber suite… I mean, a monster… in a swimming pool… I mean, in a lake… stalks and attacks villagers. It doesn’t get any cheesier than this.

The Goods:

KILLER PAD – February 5th

You’ve played the iconic Freddy Krueger for more than 20 years, so what do you do? You direct a horror comedy. And what does the distributor do? They put your name in small font under the title, while putting ‘From the producers of DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR?’ at the top! As if producers really have that much creative input in their films! Man, that sucks. The flick looks fun, and since it’s directed by Robert Englund, I wanna check it out… but I’m setting my expectations waaaaaay low.

DEADHOUSE – February 5th

Clowns are f*cking scary. Clown masks can be even scarier. This cover makes me wanna poop myself, and it’s not the knife in the dude’s hand, but his goddamn mask! This is what a good mask needs to do – hides your identity, and scares the bodily fluids out of anyone who looks at you! If only they sold this in stores, imagine all the fun you’d have…

The Goods:

BONE SICKNESS –February 5th – Because the cover is to die for, and sometimes that’s all you need!

MATRIMONY –January 15th – Because there’s nothing more terrifying – or deadly – than marriage!

DEMON SEDUCTION –February 5th – Because with a cover – and a title – like this, you know there’s gonna be plenty of nudity to go around!
