FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES – THE FIRST SEASON - September 23rd
Here it is folks, the official cover art to the classic TV series from the 80s, taking the title directly from the film series, yet the subject matter and storyline was about as unique as TV from the 80s could get. I think of it as a mix between THE X-FILES and THE TWILIGHT ZONE... the show was before its time and then some. Glad it has made its way to DVD, bummed it'll have no features, is presented in full screen, and has crappy sound. I guess it really did come from the 80s!

HOUSE OF THE DEAD – DIRECTOR’S CUT: THE FUNNY VERSION - September 9th
If you thought this sorry excuse for a video game adaptation / zombie film was funny before, hold on to your butts for THE FUNNY VERSION! Not sure, exactly, how they could make it even funnier... oh wait, it's the DIRECTOR'S CUT, that's how! I guess I actually have a bit more respect for the Boll with this release, as it appears as though he's accepting the fact that this movie sucked and he's going with it. Not that it'd be worth buying, even THE FUNNY VERSION, but I can still respect the guy for doing it.
The Goods:
SUNDOWN: THE VAMPIRE IN RETREAT - September 23rd
Two words for you: Bruce Campbell. That's all you need to know to inspire you to pick this flick up. Anything with the one chin to rule them all always equals a good time, and this vampire chasing flick is no different. Truth be told, I didn't even recognize that chin from the cover--then again, I was able to recognize David Carradine, which is bizarre since most of his face is covered up. Guess I'm just weird like that.
The Goods:
FIVE ACROSS THE EYES –September 30th – Because you can't beat a good exploitation flick!
